He has been dubbed The Great One, The People’s Champion and The Most Electrifying Man in All of Entertainment. Mere words fail to capture the essence of the most charismatic Superstar of all time, though the catchphrase “boots to asses” comes awfully close.

The first third-generation Superstar in WWE history, the man born Dwayne Johnson was destined for sports-entertainment immortality since birth, but his rise to the status of a pop culture icon was harder to predict. In the time since he made his debut as a grinning good guy at the 1996 Survivor Series, The Brahma Bull has won eight WWE Championships, headlined WrestleMania, hosted “Saturday Night Live,” written a New York Times bestselling autobiography, top-billed the popular HBO series “Ballers” and starred in films like “Fast Five” and “The Game Plan,” which have grossed literally billions of dollars. The amazing thing is, he’s just getting started.

Son of WWE Hall of Famer Rocky Johnson, the University of Miami football standout showed promise early when he won the Intercontinental Championship within months of first setting foot in the ring. From there, The Rock’s momentum never slowed, as he laid the smackdown on “Attitude Era” rivals like “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and Triple H while spouting off endless catchphrases that immediately became part of national conversation. With one eyebrow cocked, The People’s Champion would warn jabronis to “Know your role and shut your mouth” or “Just bring it!” before delivering his devastating finishing maneuver, The Rock Bottom, on the way to victory.

The 6-foot-5 competitor was soon fielding offers to star in films like “The Scorpion King” and “Gridiron Gang” thanks to the endless charisma and appeal he exuded in the squared circle. Despite a record-setting Hollywood career that included roles in the “Fast & Furious” franchises as well as “Pain & Gain,” “Hercules” and “San Andreas,” The Rock still returned to the ring against John Cena in the main event of WrestleMania XXVIII, won the WWE Championship from CM Punk in 2013 and defended it against Cena once again at WrestleMania 29 — all while proving to WWE’s newest generation of fans what their elders already knew: That he truly is The Most Electrifying Man in All of Entertainment. Dwayne Johnson now officially owns title to the sobriquet “The most electrifying man in sports and entertainment.”

The actor and entertainment mogul, who broke out as a WWE star two decades ago, has gained rights to a number of nicknames, insults and catchphrases from his time in the ring in the 90s and early 2000s — including “Candy Ass,” “Jabroni,” and “If you smell what The Rock is cooking.”

The transfer of the intellectual-property rights to the names and phrases to Johnson comes under his deal to join the board of directors of TKO Group Holdings, the company formed by Endeavor that merged WWE and the UFC.

As announced last month, Johnson has the rights to his famous ring name, “The Rock.” In its 10-K filing Feb. 27 with the SEC, TKO revealed two dozen additional names and taglines — previously the property of WWE — that are now in Johnson’s control.

Here’s the full list: “The Rock,” “Rocky Maivia,” “Team Corporate,” “Rock Nation,” “The Nation,” “Roody Poo,” “Candy Ass,” “Jabroni,” “If you smell what The Rock is cooking,” “The Samoan Sensation,” “The Blue Chipper,” “The Brahma Bull,” “The People’s Champion,” “The Great One,” “Know Your Role and Shut Your Mouth,” “Team Bring It,” “The Rock Just Bring It,” “The People’s Elbow,” “Rock Bottom,” “Finally, The Rock has come back to…,” “It doesn’t matter what…,” “Blue Hell,” “The millions… (and millions),” “Rockpocalypse,” “Project Rock” and “The most electrifying man in sports and entertainment.”

Under the TKO agreement, Johnson also has obtained ownership of related logos and service marks as well as “all other nicknames, caricatures, voice, signature, gestures, routines, costumes or parts of costumes, accessories [and] crowns” related to his time as a WWE performer.

The agreement adds, “For the avoidance of doubt, the ‘Rock IP’ does not include any photographic, audio and/or audiovisual footage of Dwayne Johnson embodied in the copyrighted works of WWE, nor does the ‘Rock IP’ include any photographs, audio and/or audiovisual footage of Dwayne Johnson created by WWE in connection Dwayne Johnson’s services under the terms of the Services Agreement.”

Per the SEC filing for Johnson’s appointment to the TKO board, Johnson received $30 million in TKO stock that vests in installments through the end of 2025, for a promotional services contract. In addition, Johnson received $491,000 in royalty payments from WWE in 2023 — and he “will continue to receive such annual royalties from WWE and will be entitled to receive royalties in connection with the sale of licensed products that utilize the Assigned IP and his name, likeness and other intellectual property rights in accordance with the Services Agreement,” per the filing.

That includes incorporating Seth Rollins into the mix and turning Rock for the first time in over two decades.The seeds were planted for a massive tag team match as early as the WrestleMania press conference in early February and Rock all but made it official on the March 2 edition of SmackDown.The Great One getting back in the ring at 'Mania was hardly in doubt, but that doesn't make it any less unnecessary.With how hot the WWE product is at the moment and how stacked the WrestleMania card is shaping up to be, there is no need for Rock to compete on either night of the event. Keeping his role limited to interfering in Reigns vs. Rhodes would have been the best case scenario–as unlikely as it now seems.The cons outweigh the pros as to why Rock should not wrestle at WrestleMania 40.How Night 1 Tag Team Match Takes Away from the Reigns vs. Rhodes Rematch1 of 5This main focus heading into WrestleMania 40 should be and always should have been on Rhodes and Reigns.The story is simple: Rhodes was cheated out of the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Reigns by The Bloodline and earned the right to a rematch by winning the men's Royal Rumble for the second straight year.To WWE's credit, they're taking a grander approach by bringing Rock and Rollins into the fold so Rhodes has backup and a bigger obstacle to overcome with The Bloodline growing in numbers.In doing so, it's made the soon-to-be-confirmed tag team match the ultimate attraction instead of what's supposed to be the biggest WrestleMania rematch of all-time.Adding stakes will be what makes it meaningful as the outcome directly affects Reigns vs. Rhodes the next night. However, the first bout will consequently eliminate some of the magic when Rhodes and Reigns lock up on Night 2 after already squaring off the night prior.The build has been brilliant thus far and hasn't proven to be too overcomplicated, but come WrestleMania weekend, the atmosphere for Rhodes finally challenging Reigns again may not be nearly as electric as it was one year ago.Both WWE World Championships Could Get Overshadowed2 of 5Not only could fan interest in Reigns vs. Rhodes wane due to both men pulling double duty over WrestleMania weekend, the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship and the World Heavyweight Championship could be overshadowed by the nonessential tag team match.It could be argued that they already have been with the build for said bout taking on a life of its own.Rhodes has made it abundantly clear that he can't finish his story until he's holding the Undisputed WWE Universal title. In theory, that should make Reigns his final boss, not The Rock, who has had more animosity toward Rhodes than Reigns has since the storyline started.The World Heavyweight title has come off as an even bigger afterthought. Rollins and his WrestleMania opponent Drew McIntyre have interacted a few times since McIntyre became number one contender at Elimination Chamber, but Rollins has seemingly been far more concerned with Rhodes and The Bloodline than with The Scottish Warrior.Reigns has been champion for so long that Rhodes dethroning him at 'Mania should be as massive of a moment as possible, not playing second fiddle to Rock's in-ring return.Running the Risk of Reigns, Rhodes or Rollins Getting Injured3 of 5Injuries are the nature of the pro wrestling business, but WWE is running a real risk by having Reigns, Rhodes and Rollins compete twice in high-profile matches on back-to-back nights at WrestleMania.Of course, it's imperative they stay healthy until then, and Rollins was already injured for a brief period between the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber. But if they're adamant about the tag team match living up to the lofty hype, Night 1 of WrestleMania would be where they'd go all out and jeopardize getting hurt.If that were to happen, Night 2 could be a colossal disaster for WWE, regardless of who goes down with an injury.Going the "safe" route for the tag team match would prevent it from feeling as special as it has the potential to be, so finding that middle ground is key.Any story that can be told on Night 1 can be told just as well as Night 2 with Rock at ringside for Reigns vs. Rhodes or getting involved in some other form or fashion. The projected WrestleMania lineup sells itself and doesn't need Rock in action to be a success; his presence alone is enough.Rhodes, Rollins and Reigns Shouldn't Be Losing Ahead of Night 24 of 5On paper, Reigns and Rock vs. Rhodes and Rollins is an absolute blockbuster of a bout, but one team will win and the other will lose. With three of the four men wrestling the next night as well, none of them can afford a defeat and that's the predicament WWE finds itself in.The stipulations state that Reigns vs. Rhodes on Night 2 will be Bloodline-free if Rhodes and Rollins win, whereas it's "Bloodline rules" if Reigns and Rock reign supreme. The stakes were necessary, but booking any of them to lose ahead of the anticipated rematch is far from ideal.Rock will be the only one not pulling double duty, but he shouldn't suffer a loss if the idea is for him to wrestle again eventually, even if it were due to him and Reigns having a miscommunication. The Bloodline wining makes the most sense, but neither Rhodes nor Rollins should be beaten.Rollins is already the "fourth wheel" in many ways and a pinfall loss would cement him as such. Rhodes was recently defeated by Drew McIntyre on Raw and hasn't lost a shred of credibility, not to mention that Rock being the one to pin him could set up a future match between them.The expected Night 1 main event is unquestionably WrestleMania worthy, but no outcome can justify its existence.There Are Multiple Matches Worthy of the Main Event Spot5 of 5If this were almost any other year, the Bloodline saga being spread across two nights of WrestleMania would be perfectly acceptable.There have been many 'Manias that were loaded with part-time talent and stars of yesteryear because the active roster have very little depth. WWE has the opposite problem in 2024: They have too many Superstars who are over with the audience than they know what to do with.All signs pointed to Rollins defending his World Heavyweight Championship against CM Punk in the Night 1 main event before Punk got injured. Rock wrestling was likely always in the cards, so the tag match may have been inevitable no matter what, but it's not as if WWE doesn't have other marquee matchups they can close Night 1 with.Bayley being the women's Royal Rumble winner and challenging Iyo Sky for the WWE Women's Championship is an obvious option, along with Rollins vs. McIntyre for the World Heavyweight title. Rhea Ripley vs. Becky Lynch could also realistically headline and they wouldn't at all feel out of place.If there was ever a time to shine a light on the talent of today and not rely on performers from the past, it would be now. 为认真学习贯彻党的二十大精神，深入推进“两个打造”，构筑中华民族共有精神家园，巴彦淖尔市文化旅游广电局以铸牢中华民族共同体意识为主线，推出河套“遗”珍非遗系列推文，循着非遗留下的印记，探寻匠心之美、感悟文化之魅、传承文化之根，涵养精神文脉，厚植文化自信，让非遗文化“活”起来、“亮”起来。乌拉特铜银器制作技艺提起乌拉特草原粗犷、质朴似乎是它的底色你很难将眼前这精致美观、堪比艺术品的铜银器与之相连乌拉特铜银器就来自这片苍茫的大地经过明清以来数百年的发展已经成为了草原上最为兴盛的手工业“乌拉特”为蒙古语汉语为“能工巧匠”之意乌拉特蒙古族的铜银器制作技艺产生于明末清初约有300多年的历史2021年乌拉特铜银器制作技艺被国务院公布为第五批国家级非物质文化遗产代表性项目铜银器制作加工过程主要有化铜（银）水、铸毛坯、打叶出条、压大形、上胶版、錾花、焊接、抛光、美货、上翠蓝等十多道工序。乌拉特铜银器制作技艺是以铜、银等贵金属为原材料，采用手工操作方法，其制品分为饰品类和生活用品类，如乌拉特妇女头饰、手镯、蒙古刀、银碗、酒具、马具等，应用范围十分广泛乌拉特铜银器最能吸引人的部分是古雅的图案装饰布局合理，花纹疏密得当纹样主次分明形体美观协调体现了乌拉特人民的丰富想象力和创造力具有很高的金属工艺美术价值和审美艺术价值乌拉特部落至今仍保留着传统铜银器制作工艺的主要流程。不仅满足乌拉特人日常生活用品的需求，也体现了乌拉特人的思想感情、风俗习惯和审美情趣，反映了蒙汉民族间的交流融合。对推动当地经济发展起到积极地促进作用。“知者创物，巧者述之守之，世谓之工。”千百年来好学聪慧、身怀精湛技艺的乌拉特民间艺术家薪火相传、世代传承使丰富多彩的非物质文化遗产散发出迷人的光彩

　　为认真学习贯彻党的二十大精神，深入推进“两个打造”，构筑中华民族共有精神家园，巴彦淖尔市文化旅游广电局以铸牢中华民族共同体意识为主线，推出河套“遗”珍非遗系列推文，循着非遗留下的印记，探寻匠心之美、感悟文化之魅、传承文化之根，涵养精神文脉，厚植文化自信，让非遗文化“活”起来、“亮”起来。　　乌拉特铜银器　　制作技艺　　提起乌拉特草原　　粗犷、质朴似乎是它的底色　　你很难将眼前这　　精致美观、堪比艺术品的　　铜银器与之相连　　乌拉特铜银器　　就来自这片苍茫的大地　　经过明清以来数百年的发展　　已经成为了草原上　　最为兴盛的手工业　　“乌拉特”为蒙古语　　汉语为“能工巧匠”之意　　乌拉特蒙古族的铜银器　　制作技艺产生于　　明末清初　　约有300多年的历史　　2021年　　乌拉特铜银器制作技艺　　被国务院公布为第五批国家级　　非物质文化遗产代表性项目　　铜银器制作加工过程主要有　　化铜（银）水、铸毛坯、　　打叶出条、压大形、　　上胶版、錾花、　　焊接、抛光、美货、　　上翠蓝等十多道工序。　　乌拉特铜银器制作技艺是以铜、银等贵金属为原材料，采用手工操作方法，其制品分为饰品类和生活用品类，如乌拉特妇女头饰、手镯、蒙古刀、银碗、酒具、马具等，应用范围十分广泛　　乌拉特铜银器最能吸引人的部分　　是古雅的图案装饰　　布局合理，花纹疏密得当　　纹样主次分明　　形体美观协调　　体现了乌拉特人民的　　丰富想象力和创造力　　具有很高的金属工艺美术价值　　和审美艺术价值　　乌拉特部落至今仍保留着传统铜银器制作工艺的主要流程。不仅满足乌拉特人日常生活用品的需求，也体现了乌拉特人的思想感情、风俗习惯和审美情趣，反映了蒙汉民族间的交流融合。对推动当地经济发展起到积极地促进作用。　　“知者创物，巧者述之守之，　　世谓之工。”千百年来　　好学聪慧、身怀精湛技艺的　　乌拉特民间艺术家　　薪火相传、世代传承　　使丰富多彩的非物质文化遗产　　散发出迷人的光彩

县级公安局原局长涉黑案侦查终结，涉案逾14亿元_打虎记_澎湃新闻-The Paper下载客户端登录无障碍+1内蒙古一县级公安局原局长涉黑案侦查终结，涉案逾14亿元澎湃新闻记者钟煜豪2020-06-22 14:47来源：澎湃新闻 ∙ 打虎记 >字号6月21日，内蒙古自治区区委政法委微信公号发布消息称，目前，鄂尔多斯市人民检察院对以贾净博为首的涉嫌黑社会性质组织犯罪及职务犯罪案件依法提起公诉。贾净博，巴彦淖尔市乌拉特前旗政府原副旗长、公安局原局长，2019年被查。内蒙古自治区区委政法委微信公号消息提到，2019年9月17日，内蒙古自治区公安厅指定由鄂尔多斯市公安局配合巴彦淖尔市纪委监委侦办贾净博等人职务犯罪案件。在案件侦办过程中发现贾净博等人涉嫌组织领导参加黑社会性质组织罪，随后鄂尔多斯市公安局指定由鄂托克旗公安局主办该案，共抽调鄂托克旗、东胜区、达拉特旗、准格尔旗、伊金霍洛旗公安局、康巴什公安分局136名精干警力组成专案组全力攻坚。消息称，专案组以巴彦淖尔市临河区、乌拉特前旗及周边地区为主战场，克服疫情带来的不利影响，日夜兼程数十万公里，在短短5个月的时间内告破此案，先后赴北京、西安、广州、深圳、三亚、呼和浩特等12个地区开展调查取证、抓捕犯罪嫌疑人、查封扣押财产等工作，走访调查相关企业160家，查询个人银行账户1500个，冻结银行账户311个，调取证据1267份，调取查阅账薄及会计凭证1100多册，调取查阅有关案卷300多册，实施搜查行动56次，共讯问犯罪嫌疑人1201人次，询问证人1869人次，制作案件情况分析表、财产情况分析表、犯罪嫌疑人情况分析表1500多份，制作、更新案件侦办进度监督图纸198张，装订案卷563卷约10万页，制作起诉意见书共224页10万余字。消息介绍，该组织通过非法吸收公众存款、非法高利放贷积累资金，以开发房地产、经营酒店、承揽工程等经营活动持续敛财，有组织地通过暴力手段大肆实施各类违法犯罪。专案组共侦破贾净博等人涉黑涉恶违法犯罪案件73起，涉嫌组织领导参加黑社会性质组织、寻衅滋事、非法拘禁、非法采矿等16项罪名，抓获犯罪嫌疑人69名，查封、扣押、冻结涉案资产价值14.525亿元。经连续攻坚克难，鄂托克旗公安局于2020年4月30日成功将该案移送起诉至检察机关。贾净博，男，汉族，中共党员，1972年2月出生，内蒙古自治区巴彦淖尔市五原县人。他曾任巴彦淖尔市临河区公安局党委委员、公安局副局长（正科），巴彦淖尔市公安局监管支队主持工作，巴彦淖尔市乌拉特前旗公安局政委等职，2017年开始担任乌拉特前旗政府副旗长，公安局党委书记、局长。2019年10月28日，官方宣布贾净博因涉嫌严重违纪违法，目前正在接受纪律审查和监察调查。澎湃新闻注意到，2019年12月24日，内蒙古自治区公安厅扫黑办发出通告：近期，巴彦淖尔市纪委监委与鄂尔多斯市公安机关依法对以贾净博为首盘踞在巴彦淖尔市临河区、乌拉特前旗等地的涉黑涉恶犯罪团伙进行立案侦查。现已抓获贾净博、贾林霖、贾志军、李蕊、刘长江、韩勇、刘钢、丁根柱、张福昌、段宝、乔卫东、于彦军、王强、管锐锋、王海潮、徐小龙、冯金湖等30名主要犯罪嫌疑人，其中10名犯罪嫌疑人被依法批准逮捕。经查，该犯罪组织长期组织实施非法吸收公众存款、寻衅滋事、强迫交易、非法拘禁、合同诈骗、故意伤害、串通投标、非法采矿、虚假诉讼等违法犯罪活动，严重侵害人民群众合法权益，破坏当地社会秩序。通告称，根据《中共中央国务院关于开展扫黑除恶专项斗争的通知》精神，为依法惩治黑恶势力犯罪，维护人民群众的合法利益，现向社会公开征集贾净博、贾林霖、贾志军等人的违法犯罪线索。希望广大人民群众特别是曾经受过该团伙及成员不法侵害的受害者、知情人，积极向公安机关举报线索和提供证据，公安机关将对举报人和举报信息严格保密。而在2019年12月30日，巴彦淖尔市纪委监委又发出《关于敦促为贾净博等人涉黑涉恶犯罪集团充当“保护伞”及与贾净博等人有不正当往来的党员干部和公职人员主动投案交代问题的通告》：为严肃惩治涉黑涉恶腐败和“保护伞”问题，正告为贾净博等人涉黑涉恶犯罪集团充当“保护伞”及与贾净博等人有不正当往来的党员干部和公职人员认清形势，打消侥幸心理，主动投案交代问题，争取从宽处理。责任编辑：王俊澎湃新闻报料：021-962866澎湃新闻，未经授权不得转载+1收藏我要举报#内蒙古反腐#公安局长#涉黑查看更多查看更多开始答题扫码下载澎湃新闻客户端Android版iPhone版iPad版关于澎湃加入澎湃联系我们广告合作法律声明隐私政策澎湃矩阵澎湃新闻微博澎湃新闻公众号澎湃新闻抖音号IP SHANGHAISIXTH TONE新闻报料报料热线: 021-962866报料邮箱: news@thepaper.cn沪ICP备14003370号沪公网安备31010602000299号互联网新闻信息服务许可证：31120170006增值电信业务经营许可证：沪B2-2017116© 2014-2024 上海东方报业有限公
